Will be building stand for my new 100g IM tank. Will be posting more pics obviously but just received it Friday. Have a question about the rock i bought. I have 100lbs of rock a reefer took out his tank and just left it outside to dry for multiple days can I get away with just pressure washing it or should I to a 1:10 bleach/water solution to soak in? If so how long?

I can’t see what you have but the easiest way to get the rock evaluated is to put it in a brute garbage can (in the garage so you don’t have to smell it or worry about a leak), fill it with water and let it soak for a week. Add a heater if it is cold, a circulation pump won’t hurt. After a soak, test for phosphate and copper to evaluate the condition of the rocks. If the rocks are clean, add salt and let the rocks cycle in the brute until the tank is set up and read for the rockscape.

I actually pressure washed it today let it dry out out put it in my brute garbage can and need to go to lfs to get water cause I haven’t got my spectrapure ro unit yet gonna order next week probably

Oh you’re saying just regular old water out the hose?
