New tank set up

I have a 20 gallon long tank that’s fully cycled with 2 clown fish. My question is I am getting a 60 gallon tank obviously I don’t have enough rock to just pick up and throw in there and call it good so should I take like 10 lbs out and put In the new one and try to do a quick cycle? Or just put all the rocks in there with the new rock and match temp oh and salinity and put the fish in there?

Hello . Welcome to Reef 2 Reef . When I took some live rock out of our first established tank and mixed it with dry rock for our second tank it didn't instantly cycle . I was surprised how long it took . I guess I didn't use enough live rock .

Welcome to R2R! Buy ocean live rock then combine that with your old live rock into the new tank. Avoid trying to use dry rock.
