I’m setting up a new 150gal tank (60x24x24), it will be cycled bared bottom and with Marco dry rock. I’d like to stock: 2 clown, 2 dart fish, blenny, 6 line wrasse, apatasia eating file fish, yellow tang, flame fin tang, powder brown tang and a manderin goby.

My question is, if I buy ALL my fish from a QT source like quarantinedfish.us and quarantine ALL new inverts in a separate tank in a separate room for 76 days (ich cycle recommendaction). The tank should remain Ich, Velvet, Uronema, and internal parasites free correct? (Those 4 things are treated for at QT source). I understand there are other things that can get my fish but if that’s correct it seems like a strong start and perhaps worth the extra cost and time. Any feedback would be much appreciated thanks and Happy Thanksgiving!

If you buy all your fish from a QT source then you should be fine. I did the same thing with live aquaria's divers den because I did not want to set up my QT tank again.

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
