New tank

I am in the process of setting up a 55 gallon tank with about a 20 gal sump. I am looking for a 100 gal protein skimmer and any helpful advice :) thanks!

From what I've seen everybody else do is buy the largest ,most expensive skimmer you can afford.

Love that! But expensive isn't always better. True a good design will cost more!

So true!
Functionality, ease of cleaning, pump design, control of the water height, effluent rate and incoming air rate are keys to a good skimmer :)

I agree with sebo, they look like palys, second one is very hard to say

Did you get a skimmer yet? Reef octopus is the cheapest one I have tried and the easiest one I've ever used.
