So I want to buy a new tank, the only problem is I have no idea on what brand I want. I live in the bay area, and I am willing to drive as far as LA. A few friends told me Le Mar makes good tanks at a good prices, so I have got a few quotes on that and I liked the price. I am kind of worried about quality, I just don't want to have to go back and change things later, I want to get it right the first time. So my question is how is the quality of Le Mar tanks, and are there any other suggestions on tank makers I should go with. I also haven't found a stand maker yet, and would like to have a custom stand made with all the bells and whistles. I haven't decided on the size, so I would also like to hear what you guys think? I want to go with 56 or 58 long 24 or 26 wide and 22 tall. I am in a apartment so kind of crammed for space but I will be moving into a house soon. I just really cant decide on what size to go with. So if any one has any pics or ideas PLEASE let me know.
Thank you!

I've got a Lee Mar being delivered on Friday. From what I've seen they make some pretty nice tanks and a reasonable price. Once it gets here I'll be more than happy to share some pics.

Thanks, it such a hard decision on buying a new tank. I am more concerned on quality then the price of the tank, but don't take me wrong I am no baller with a million dollars, I just want to be completely satisfied the first time. Every time I try to save money it always ends up costing me more.

I've heard of Miracles (Miracles in Glass I think is their full name) and nothing but good stuff from then. Lee Mar I've also heard of, so it's a toss up for me.

Anyone got any pics of their tanks with close spec's of 56x24x22? or 58x26x22?

Hey bro.. i dont knwo much.. i just know that jsut go with the biggest you can put into the place u wanna put and buy a stand the will put the tank right at eye level when u stand right up to it..

i got a leemar and its great.. i like the black silicon they use ..

Starfire glass is good.. eaurobraced...

goodluck!

You did mention you were going to move into a house soon so I would wait. it will be a pain and not good for a tank to move a recently established reef. Just a opinion but why don't you wait or just starting by the dry goods now and wait to set it up when you move. It would make the move easier and less stress for your future live stock. On that note go as big as you can.....
