New tank surprised me and arrived early, still a lot to do and work out for my first reef tank.

Currently awaiting the second overflow box to be delivered before I can start to plumb it up.

Need to work out how to make 1200litres of RO to initially fill it and then what skimmer to run on it.

Congratulations on the new tank and the new adventure!!! If you don't have the RO system (or don't want to wait for the time it takes to fill it), you may considered reaching out to a local fish store or aquarium service company to fill the tank the first time. Good luck with whatever you decide!

So it’s taking me waay to long to make progress with this for a number of reasons and I think plumbing is my new least favourite thing. Still a way to go and things to buy but hopefully I’ll be able to put some water in tomorrow and then check all over for any leaks

Cool! Let us know how it goes getting this wet!

Still a slow burner but I’ve had a bit more time recently. Still no water in it yet but got a reef octopus 200int on the way and some rocks arrived today as well. Not scaled yet just kind of placed in there whilst I work out what I want. I’ve got another load of rocks in a bleach bath atm from my old tank that will be added once they’re throughly rinsed and dried

Started adding fish now, though these 3 are the only current inhabitants and look a bit lost.
Back to the (L)FS tomorrow L in brackets as I don’t have a local shop 😂

Picking up a skimmer and hopefully a few more inhabitants

Gonna get another one tomorrow, feel bad I only bought 1! Got a bit of a road trip planned to visit a few stores

Added a few inhabitant's now, struggling with some nuisance algae and high po4 atm so haven’t added any coral till I’ve got that under control, have added a reef octopus regal 200int and waiting for a load more rock work to be delivered
