New Tideline 21 AIO Setup

Hello, setting up a Tideline 21 AIO Nano Reef for the first time in over a decade. Curious, I have the tank, which came with filter sock and return pump, but the middle chamber is empty and has no media basket with it. What do folks put in there nowadays? With no basket I didn’t want to put any media. Would small pieces of rock work? I thought about a skimmer but wasn’t sure I wanted to start with that yet. Have dry rock for display area. Feel like I’m missing something…

Here's an example of a media basket that I believe fits your tank, and would allow your to run pretty much whatever media you wanted. Check places like Etsy for others that may fit your tank (people 3D print them). You could also use the area for a skimmer if you decide to get one, or setup either a lighted or cryptic (no light) refugium in that section.

D'oh! I just noticed your location, and I'm not sure what would be available to you, but again, check Etsy to see if anyone near you is printing a media basket. You can also fairly easily DIY your own media basket if you need to.
