Hello everyone. I’m looking for opinions. I just picked up my brand new Tideline crystalline G2 48”x24”. I set the stand up and set the tank on top. The tank doesn’t set flush on the stand at all 4 corners. Does anyone know if this is by design or if I should be concerned? Please help before I start filling.

Could you post a picture of the problem?

Yes, the stand should fully support in the bottom of the tank. Maybe try shimming the stand from the bottom of the stand?

The stand has a solid top. Shimming under the stand will not fix the issue

Friend, I don't like that at all. If that was me and this was a new tank/stand, I'd be contacting the manufacturer for help or a suitable replacement. I personally wouldn't fill that tank, I'm sorry to say.

Maybe someone else will have a more positive take on this :)

Good luck!

Contacted the manufacturer. They told me it was normal because of the way they pack and ship them. That the foam pad underneath gets smashed down on the side but not the middle. To fill it and let it all compress. I have filled it and haven’t had any issues

To me it kind of just looks like the foam under pad is pinched in the corners, which I am guessing is now flat with the water weight.

Lookin good OP!
Yes it is. I was told be several ppl that it’s because of the way they are shipped and strapped together. The corners compress

Looks like a nice tank, I was looking at them because their pricing is pretty good. Do you know where the tank is made?
I’m pretty sure they’re made overseas and then shipped in. I know planet aquarium is based out of Dallas, Texas.

This is a bit off subject, but i am looking at this tank as a possible upgrade from my current system. Could you tell me how tall this display is? Roughly how many gallons including the sump? There isnt a ton of detail on the websites that have these listed.

How’s it been holding up? Any chance you could show how you did the plumbing?

I’m considering order the same INT version. How’s the INT working compared to EXT? Any plumbing or sump advice?

Thank you!
