New to R2R

Hello everyone. New to the saltwater fish and coral community. I have had freshwater my whole life. Who thought at age 51 I’d start establishing my dream aquarium? So I will be active at picking people’s brains. I am a 2 year brain cancer (Glioblastoma) survivor. And my 45 gallon is hopefully the first of many for me.

So much inspiring content in one post. Very moving. I’m 47 and have gotten back into reefs 6 or so months ago.

You’ll do great. If you beat cancer, you can beat any algae that comes your way! I work in healthcare and have worked in the Oncology therapeutic area and watched the warriors go through some really difficult times.

Look forward to seeing how you do with reefing.
