Hi everyone,

I been in the hobby for a while, but couple years ago my tank crashed (Chiller didn't kick in) and my tank went over 100 degree on summer lost nice corals and fishes, also my passion for reefing. So after that happened I neglected my tank for years and just left with some fishes and algae (lots of algae). But middle of last year I decided to make a change. Water change, clean the tank and start taking good care. Since this tank is at my work, I went very simple. Just T5 lights (I had some fixture just changed the bulbs to ATI and Gilsemann, HOB overflow, DYI sump (really ugly) and dosing method. I haven't changed the water yet it's been 4 months, but will do one next month. Sorry I know I should do water change.

I really like the T5 lights only, but it does lack that pop/wow from LED'S. My goal was to actually have MH, but just used the fixture I already have it. My system is not fancy, but as long it works for me, I am happy.

Attached couple pictures.

Welcome home, you will love it here!

Beautiful photos and tank, thanks for sharing!

We’ve all been in a dark place in this hobby (well most of us)— for me, it’s been several times. Look at what you’ve accomplished since! Well-done! :)
