me and my girlfriend just started an 40 gallon reef tank we added two clownfish but we were wondering what are some easy corals and anemone for an beginner

What kind of light do you have and what kind of wave makers?

Soft corals like leathers and zoa’s and mushrooms are good beginner corals.

It’s usually suggested to wait a few months for the tank to mature before adding anemones.

Hi and welcome to R2R. 🙂

Do yourself a huge favor and wait 3 to 4 months before adding any Anemone. When the tank is ready in 3 to 4 months LTA or a BTA are both hardy Anemone types.

Start with some soft corals like Toad Stool, Kenya Tree, Mushrooms.

Nothing good happens fast in this hobby. Patience is key, avoid impulse buys and keep asking questions.

🙂
