Newbie here to Saltwater hobbie, it’s been greatly informative reading the already know issues and new innovative ways to successfully have a reef tank! Thank you all for contributing, for all the info and answers to those users before me!

As for my set up, I have a 40g Auquatop that I got for a good price and up and running for over a year now.

Equipment/Tank
40G Aquatop AIO cube
Filtration - filter floss over filter sponge,
4 basket (2) media rings (2) carbon infuse media cubes

Not sure in return pump but it is a upgrade than the one it came with, original skimmer, and eheim 150w heater

1 Maroon Clownfish
1 diamond Goby
1 Royal Gramma
4 Snails
1 Nass Snail
4 blue hermit Crabs

Just introduce Coral
2 hammers
1 torch
1 Zoa (has not open in week)
