Hey guys i have a 75 gallon tank i would like to use. I want to grow a beautiful reef with mushrooms and coral and some fish. Can some one help me get the parts like a pump etc? i want to get everything by the end of april and get it setup to watch the reef grow. I wont buy fish till later though. And what fish are compatible with craps and snails and shrimp?

I have actually just set up my 55 gallon reef
This is what I did
Items needed:
Tank
Stand
Protein skimmer(i suggest 100gallons rated or more)
2 powerheads
Heater
Lights I have the aquaticlife 4 bulb t5 HO

Set up
Add your sand( live if possible)
Your live rock (100 pounds+)
Your water
Watch for the ammonia spike and nitrate spike and then start adding your fish, clean up crew ect.
After you know your tank is stable you can add hardy corals for you to get use to it. And there you go.
This is the way I did it :)

I had around 40 Astrea snail and dwarf hermits that kept my tank spotless during even curing time for the rocks, I have never seen algae in my tank( 75 gallon)
Usuallly most fish are okay with inverts unless they eat them for food of course.

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
