So many mixed reviews/opinions on dry or live. I've used both and I do have a preference but that's really a personal choice.

Just remember, don't rinse live sand, but rinse, rinse, and rinse dry sand until the water is clear before adding to the DT. ;)

If you add 10 lbs of true ocean live rock to your system it will propagate all that life into your dry Tonga branches and sand. Here are 3 locations to get them:

Tbsaltwater will only same day airfreight which means you will have to drive to the airport to pick up from the airfreight terminal. My nearest terminal is 2 hours away so I probably won't be going that route. Maybe your local airport is on the list.

Welcome to R2R! Sounds like you have lots of good plans in the making! I love cube tanks -- I have never had one, but those on the forum who do, have some lovely reefs. Be certain to get a build thread started when you make that first purchase. :)

Welcome to the reef! Your plan sounds great! I have a 60 cube and love it. Mine is 24x24x24. I use one Radion xr15 gen 4 pro and it looks great. Now that my parameters are stable, stuff grows like wildfire. There is a forum on this sight dedicated to cube lovers that you might want to check out. I actually have 3 cubes... the 60, a 32 Biocube and a Fluval M40 cube. We love them. My next tank will be what you have I think..... ;)
