Hey guys just starting my first reef tank and man it's addicting. Anyways found these guys on a frag plug I got from my brother in law....skinny worm white body with red bristles coming out one side...retracts red bristles if disturbed.

Hard to see in the pic but it sounds like a bristleworm. They are usually harmless, unless they grow too large or there are too many of them.
Maybe post a better pic? Try using red light, they can't see it and will not retreat from it.

It is addicting. Good luck. Always nice to have family in friends into the same hobby.

Doesn't look like a bristle worm to me, I'm not really sure what it is. Anyone else?
