My wife really wanted a salt water tank. I didn’t initially but eventually agreed to get one. Bought a used innovative marine nuvo fusion 30L in good condition. Been doing a lot of research and educating myself about the hobby. Still a beginner but enjoying the hobby. Have two Picasso clowns, 1 cleaner shrimp, 1 turbo snail, 3 hermit crabs, and 1 sand sifting starfish. In my QT tank I have a fairy wrasse and a striped blenny. Once I get some more fish into my DT I’ll probably start getting some corals. Will post some pics when I get a chance.

So happy to hear that a newbie knows what a QT is!

Welcome to the hobby and the forum!

Lot's of smart people here that will guide you...

I had to learn the hard way after I got ich. Had to go fishless for 72 days and lost some livestock in the process. As my friend says, “This hobby teaches you a whole new level of patience.”

It’s so cool. Moves all over the sand and keeps it clean. Sometimes climbs up the glass. Sometimes it will fall off the glass and land upside down, and then will flip itself over.
