Hey I'm new to the reef world but I got 6yrs in freshwater so I'm going feet first cuz I got bored. So I've got a 120g 4ft x2ft x2ft reef ready and a 39g fuge I think it's a good start. I know this is gonna be a slow pace but that's okay I'm actually really excited. Oh and if anybody is in dallas, Texas lmk I'm always down for a little hands on tutorial and see what works here in the dfw

@melev is a vendor here, has been in the hobby for a long time, and lives in the Dallas area. You should give him a ring if you need anything acrylic made, have any need for equipment, or just want to "learn from a legend"! LOL His tank is pretty amazing! Check it out for some inspiration!

There are a few common mistakes that freshwater hobbyist makes when converting to saltwater.

1) High temperature will not kill marine ich
2) use of tap water
3) canister filter
