I am planning to convert my tank to ZEOvit. Never used it before. Should I keep the chaeto as well or get rid of it when the ZEOvit is up and running? My hope for ZEO is to starve out my dinoflagellates. If I remove the chaeto I would probably move some of the live rock from my tank down to the refugium to make it easier to clean my tank as there are so many inaccessible crevices that are harboring detritus. If fuge has rock and no chaeto do I still need to light the fuge at night? Do the beneficial bacteria in the rock need light?
Also any other tips for converting a two year old dirty tank to ZEO?
Thanks for reading my first post!
