New Tunze 9012 skimmer foam.

Just curious if my new skimmer is creating enough foam. Any comments are greatly appreciated

How new is the skimmer? They usually take a little while to build up a bacterial film in the body of the skimmer to start producing good foam.

Only a few days. Just not sure if foam should be higher once working well

Once its broken in you can adjust as needed to get a good foam head. Id give it a week or so and adjust from there. I prefer dry skim, so want the bubbles slowly going over the top of the neck.

Open the air silencer up all the way. Then adjust the height of the skimmer.
