Newbie from Florida!

Hey everybody. Figured I'd make an account here after stumbling across this forum a few dozen times doing research lol. I'm from close to the Jacksonville area and don't really know anyone yet in the hobby besides my LFS owner haha. I have 2 sons and we've had a blast learning and setting up everything together. Looking forward to learning and sharing with you all!

Welcome! Glad you joined. Florida has VERY active hobby club scene, so poke around here for your area and you are sure to find more fishy friends.

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)

This is a good reference book type online article I still review:

Thanks for your advice! I'm looking forward to starting a thread to track my progress and I'm sure unveil some errors I make along the way haha. I'm really looking forward to reefapoolza in April and having the opportunity to meet some new people as well!
