Newbie invert questions

I am new to salt water tanks. I have a 29 gallon bio-cube up and running, it has live sand, water and live and dry rock in it now. Is there such a thing as easy inverts for beginners? If so what are they? Do you have any tips or suggestions for keeping them? Thanks :)

yes, most CUC (clean up crew) inverts are easy. As with most marine animals, they are sensitive to large salinity, temperature and ph swings. This can be avoided by making sure to have a full ATO, not using tap water for any aquarium activity, and matching temperature and salinity when doing WCs.

All marine creatures are very sensitive to ammonia, so the aquarium needs to be fully cycled with 0.0 ammonia before adding anything.

Make sure all rocks are beneath and not on top the sand, otherwise they can move and crush burrowing inverts.

a basic CUC i would recommend (Once you have algae growing!) is:

5 Florida ceriths: they eat algae and detritus, mainly in the sand-bed. Burrows throughout the day and stirs the sand bed.

2 Nassarius Sp. : Eats only scraps and detritus mainly on the sand-bed, helps stir sand-bed and burrows.

3 trochus Sp. : eats algae on the rocks, can breed in a healthy aquarium, may have trouble righting itself when flipped over.
