Newbie trying to identify good from bad

Found these little yellow guys on the rubble in the sump. Newly cycled tank with live rock, sand and rubble. No corals or fish yet. Leave it? Move to tank? Or remove? TIA

I believe it's a sponge but it could be tunicates. Typically either will be harmless and mostly beneficial.

I keep any and all sponges. They look cool + they can be a good indicator your system is doing good.

I don't have any specific varieties but I have several that have been exposed to air and survived.

It's definitely not recommended.

I've got a black branching sponge that has been in my tank for over a year that was exposed to air two or three times. It's still alive.
