Looking to see if anyone has a recent clam book that talks about Hippopus hippopus vs Hippopus porcellanus. My clam book was published in 1996. Looking for newer descriptions. My H.h looks to have a ring of tentacles around the intake syphon and rounded teeth which is a description for H.p... But i know H.p is extremely rare so I doubt it is an H.p

Any help out there?

My clam has the same tissue structure on the inhalant siphon.
