She will be the centerpiece of my tank and I only paid $30 for her. I watched her in the store for a couple of weeks to make sure she was eating and looking good before I bought her. Was just hoping i didn't go in one day and find her gone, lol. That has happened a few times but rather get a healthy fish than rush in and buy one just to have it die.

Smart move with waiting hardest and smartest thing to do in this hobby/addiction lol. That said beautiful fish and i wish you well with it maybe you get extra lucky and find one to pair up =)

Would love to find a mate. I am pretty sure this one is a female from stripe patterns and pectoral fin coloration. I have never seen another one available for sale though. Here is a little better pic. You can see the slight yellow spot on the forehead which is supposed to be an indication of a male, so I am a little confused on the sexing. I have also heard that they can change sexes so maybe that is why he/she has charecteristics of both?
