Friday I stopped by the lfs to see if they had any royal grammas in to try and see if I would have better luck this time around. They had one royal gramma that had a pretty bad outbreak of ich so I decided to pass on him. I did however decide to pick up one of the firefish that they did have in. So far he is doing very well in the qt tank and is getting better about being less spooked each day when I am doing anything around the qt tank. He has also been feeding fairly aggressivly so I am thinking that things should be good. I do want to get him fattened up a little and make sure he is healthy before placing him in the display tank. His colors will be a very nice addition, from across the room he looks like he glows. Here is a couple of pictures of the new guy.

So cute Barb!! I love my firefish!! and you are right, you can really see him from across the room! I am sure you have prepared for their "jumper" habits already (with all the research you do :))
