Oh snap!
Not what I want to see. Maybe a macro display is not possible.
I feed so much to a point where I’ve notice the cost.

I’ll have to do more reading on display macros tanks. I don’t want to set it up and need to dose a million things to keep it alive. More work than the actual reef.

Okay. I’m gonna do it.
First need to raise up the Waterbox frag tank so that it can be drained into the sump.

More tool ****.

This is a beast of a battery framing nailer.

In case I missed it, how high above the water line are you running your g5? At 32” wide, are you content with the spread? I’m running 3 pros at 78% on. 6” tank and they’re just right at 9” awl but only 24” wide.

Nice setup

Mine are Blues. I have 5 mounted in verticals and above 10” above the water line. They all have the diffuser cover on them. At 40% but with cool white turn down to 80%, I’m consistently getting 320-350 par at highest point of rock(mid tank, tank is 28” tall with 2.5” sandbed). 200par or better on the sand. The tank is 84”x34”x28. At the extreme corners bottom, it’s about 100par.
I highly recommend using the diffuser covers. Yes, when you get it, you’ll say “how much did I pay for this”. Because it’s nothing but a piece of plastic film with magnet clip. They fall off quite easily too. Mine has taken a swim in the tank a couple times. But they work and spread the light more evenly and solved my problem led disco effect.

Thanks for this! I was trying to decide between the G5’s and the hydra 32s for my tank and our tanks are near identical dimensions

I also recommend you guys get a par meter and take the measurement. The LEDs are strong. You can’t really go by how bright your eyes see them.

Put the cover on the sump since it has been cold the past week. Temp shot up immediately lol.
