So last Thursday I stopped by Marco's to pick up some supplies and stare at his fish collection. I couldn't help myself, and I took Polo home. Seeing Marcos tanks and system validated everything he's been saying on here. The fish are healthy and happy (read fat), and I'm confident that I'm introducing a disease free fish into my system. Polo acclimated very well and was swimming when I came home from work the next day. He started swimming around over the weekend, has found "his" cave, and is not as skittish at movement around the tank. He's come out for pellet and LRS feedings. He also stole seaweed from my tangs. I expect to see even more of his personality come out as he finishes settling in.

Here's a short video of my new fish! Polo the Niger Trigger from ERC - YouTube

THANK YOU MARCO & ERC!
love nigers! their color in person is so much nicer than what shows up in pics or videos - the way they swim is so cool!

Good-looking trigger. :)
Thanks! I'm interested to see his personality develop! Do you have one?

I love them too (obviously). It's so hard to really photograph them against that dark black background. The blues and purples just never look as vibrant. Do you have one?

He looks great. There so much fun to look at. And grow very quick. I've had mine for 3 months and he's taken over the tank. His best friend is my yellow tang.
