night function on new Jebao dual controller

So I've had the new Jebao dual controller, with wp25's, functioning In my tank now for a month or more and love them, except for one thing: the night function.
I was under the impression it would run the powerheads at the least power all night. Well, mine go to least power for about 5 minutes, and then shut off. I wrote fish street and email asking them if I was doing something wrong, or if the controller was defective, and did not got an answer. But I did get a new controller in the mail a week or two later (thank you fish street!).
But a new controller has not solved the problem; it does the same thing. So it must be me. Anyone know how to keep the powerheads running all night in night mode. I like the idea of having strong flow during the day, and less at night. I am currently running the W1 setting, with pump 1 at 5 and pump 2 at 3.

Do you have it placed where the sensor doesn't catch the light from anywhere? That was my issue. Mine was catching my over the sink kitchen light from the other room. I just turned the sensor in a slightly different area.

No, when the tank lights turn off my settings go from P1=5 and P2=3, to P1=1 and P2=1. But then shut completely off after 5 minutes. I think I'm going to add my wp10 to run at night to get more flow at night and be automatic.

That's a great idea! I think night mode on my wp40s is still to strong. I may do the same or just let the 4 returns create night flow.

I wish I had 4 returns! I have 2 and they both point toward one side of the aquarium, so the opposite side isn't getting any flow at night.

I have 2 ATM on the 125 but putting extra in the 180 build. I built a 1/2" spraybar for the top of the sand bed and under the rock ridge. It's excellent :) This will move to the 180 and that will have 2 3/4" returns on the overflow end (it's a peninsula) facing at a 45 deg to the glasss walls. On the far end will be a column with a hidden 3/4" return facing 30 deg down and to the back corner of the tank. They will all have a ball valve to adjust each ones flow to be sure my drains match up.

Add on to one of them if you can and run it to the other side.
