I wonder if Calcium Carbonate would help clear up the sand floaties... Supposedly it just acts as a coagulant or flocculant and makes particles heavier so they fall easier.

Running filter floss in the hob to help it...clear picked up 12lbs of lr and the other scape weighs 10 so 22lbs total.....16lbs of sand with 2 cup fulls from 2 systems running for 12yrs....lr is real old school rock from 4 different systems acro nem lps and the 12 yr system...nem lr came with a rose bubble tip. I used water from the 55 frag and 2 gal from his 12 yr system.... total gallons was 16.5g.....so far so good waiting for it to clear and then LR will go in......slowly but surely.....cant set up wave pumps yet hygger is being used on the 15g column until transfer of fish and coral....man almost there. Pick up the yellow watchman and tiger pistol shrimp in 4 hrs it better hurry up lol....

Well its done everything transferred and all looking beautiful..... still a little cloudy but that will work for now gonna change floss out in a few.....

Wave pumps got delayed so ill get that in tomorrow...zoas moved over sunday....hopefully sunday lol....they can tolerate a lot more then other corals but the water is from the 55 they are in and LR is great stuff so i would imagine we are good to go....cant wait to start gluing down some zoas....

Yes long hours i am ready for bed and its only 8 pm here lol.....pistol shrimp amd yellow watchman are cool little guys but i mean little litlle guys lol cant even get a good pic.....bicolor blenny is doing awesome had to get one love that flame orange tail....clowns and skunk cleaner shrimp from 15g column....had to twar apart the 15g to get those guys but its all good now....going to be chiseling the zoa rocks to make smaller to get into the tank on sunday....only keeping what they have attached too...but have to run that tank for a few more days to clear up some algae before transferring....dosing h202 now that there is nothing in the tank with pretty good doses after using sams 5g bucket filter sock holder to get out as much as possible....man i feel like its been non stop stuff but now time to eat tacos and sit down for an hour....lol

Well was able to get a lot of zoas fragged today and into the tank also gave her a few other pieces as well...alveopora and a few gonis will be in the next few days....still have more zoas and rock heading that way just hoping the zoas frag easy and clean up good..... rock will get a bath to get some last remaining algae off then into the tank....

Will post more updates as things open up and settle in....
