Total water volume ~170 Gallons
Lightish fish load & a few frags.

PO4 - 0.040 ppm
NO3 - 65ish and not dropping over two weeks

I am dosing DYI NoPox at 18ml \ day after a ramp-up over two weeks, along with 6caps of MB7 in the AM. Skimmer off for 4 hours with the MB7.

The question is, should I raise my PO4 slightly or hold the course? The first week I was running GFO, so I'm sure PO4 bottomed out even though I had some hair algae ( which I manually removed most of )

Without phosphates, you will not see a reduction of nitrates with carbon dosing.

Many people end up dosing phosphates while carbon dosing. Including myself when I was doing it.

I have to dose po4 when carbon dosing. .04 is my lowest I go. 2ml of po4 a day when Nopox is dosing is my magic.

If .04 is your bottom, what is your top?
.1, I add reef roid when I am on the lower end every week and it bumps it up to about .09 and feeds my coral then drops back to around .04 in a couple of days. So far it seems to be working for me.

Looking back to your reefing roots: Did you start with Instant Ocean salt?
