I’m trying to find a way to lowers my nitrates beside water changes. I do weekly water changes but can’t seem to ever get my nitrates down to 10ppm. I usually sit at 25-30. My phosphates are .1 ppm

I'm in the same boat, high nitrates with low phosphate. Sandbed with Marcos Rock, 1-year-old tank, 100 gallons.

If you have a good bioload . You can dose vodka suger vinegar. Or get a bipellet reactor.if you have a sump . Marine pure blocks could help. If your tank has just cycled i would do a big water change . Make sure you have good flow on your rocks they should be able to handle a fair amount of nitrates.

I have a 125 with a 30 gallon sump with two 10x12 water fall screens in my sump they grow algae that take out my nutrients. If you don't have much room ,and have a protein skimmer. I would go with a biopellet reactor.

I always have luck with use of chemipure Blue or elite in lowering and keeping NO3 in check
