Finally set up my first tank. Started a fishless cycle with some bottled ammonia and Fritz turbostart. Now I have what is probably a dumb question.

For every water change going forward, do I have to add nitrifying bacteria? Is what I used this first time all I need? Is it only until I notice coralline algae?

Nitrifying bacteria will attach to surfaces in a couple weeks. Water changes will have little or no effect on them.
