I used to have (a lot of ) bristleworms till a year or so ago. Lately, I have noticed they are completely gone. Not sure what happened. I feed flakes, pellets mostly. I do have other micro fauna, Vermetid snails, asterina , snails, hermits etc. all thriving. Not sure what happened to Bristleworms. I did add a few bumblebee snails to deal with vermetids. Could they be eating of the worm eggs to drive them to extinction?

It may be that the other critters are eating the food & detritus before they could get it therefore lowering their numbers. Not bad that they are gone but they can stay hidden very well. I rarely see them unless I'm looking very hard. Best of luck :)

They are gone for sure. I removed more than half of my sand bed and replaced all rockwork with a different kind. Nothing there.
