Im using an apex system to do a 1% water change every day using tropic marin pro reef salts... I want to start dosing trace elements but the the packaging says to dose based on calcium usage... my calcium never goes down. It is always 440-460 based on my apex, ive verified calc level with a hannah checker so i dont think its a testing issue.

You should only dose whats needed
If your water change is keeping up with usage, dosing will just cause problems

Doing ICP tests show my tank is at 0.0 for the following...cobalt, chromium, iron, iodine, manganese, vanadium and zinc.
