I have this red algae that I thought will help with cycling, and it did! Later, when there is fish I thought it will be eaten ... But it isn't.

Really none of these fish or the cleanup crew wille eat red algae?

Emerald and pitho crabs love most macos in my experience. . . if you are ok with crabs I would give those a shot. Otherwise, in my experience that algae doesn't really "root" or otherwise hold itself down all too well, probably pretty easy to pull it out at the base and scrape whatever is left off the rock.

Its a slow growing algae that normally can´t stand the competition in a mature aquarium. Its easy to trim and rather beautiful to look at. I wouldn't worry too much - just wait and trim if, in the unlikely event, it grows too much.

That is my plan exactly. Not worried just was surprised that noone touches it and had to ask.
And yes there is an emerald crab around too that came with the cleanup crew.

It's a beautiful addition at least until the frags grow out
