No place for pulsing Xenia

I have a pulsing Xenia that did fine in QT but didn't open as much in display. I figured it's because he's in too high flow, so I tried about 10 different spots just now. I could see the heads moving at bit even while closed in every single spot. Will that be too much flow?

I have my return pump and a powerhead on each side of a 120 - pretty standard setup.

How are your levels?
pulsing Xenia usually like a moderate flow, the pulsing is the polyps getting food from the water, so they need flow in order to get it, how long has it been in DT

I stopped caring about my xenia when two things happened:

1.) I bought more expensive and demanding corals that I prioritize.

2.) I realized I actually cannot kill xenia, even if I try (which I have).

Mine is in this crevice between my rocks where most of the flow hits. It’s always bent over backward and flying around in it. The heads took some time to open but eventually did and now it’s doing alright there. The only reason I’m not trying to get it out anymore is because it’s between my euphyllia rock and BTA, so I don’t think it’ll do much spreading.

Put it in a spot with as low flow as possible and leave it there. Worst case scenario, it doesn’t pulse as much. I’ve had xenia die because it didn’t like where I put it but a week later, you couldn’t tell anything had ever happened to it.
