Hi everyone, i've got a reef tank before, i want to make a bigger tank only keep fish, but without protein skimmer, i don't know if it possible or not? Need some advice

It is possible depending on the bioload will depend on how many waterchanges you will do. Before i had my 180 reef it was a 180 FOWLER tank no skimmer heck for the longest time I didn't even have a skimmer on the reef haha. Anyways to answer your question it is totally possible for you to keep a fish only tank with no skimmer just a little more work to get rid of some of the excess nutrients if you are willing to do so.
