I don´t know why i went the no water change way in a big predator tank, it´s not about the money for salt, it was more of a challenge to prove some people wrong, that you can have a nice looking, low maintance predator tank.

So i started with my Sun spectrum grow lights and some macroalgaes, for more nutrient controll i went barebottom tank wise.

I keep a grey bamboo shark (1,6ft), 7 columbian sharks, 1 green spotted Pufferfish, 1 Moray, 1 Filefish and a lawnmower Blenny and some Hermit crabs.
Feeding every second day.
I am currently in the need to redose nutritions to avoid cyanos and dinos, some inspiration for additional fish would be perfect, since the algaes are not fully grown.
And it is more fun to bring nutrients in the tank by feeding fish rather than using a dosing pump :D

For the Setup:

Tank: 6,5ftx3,25ftx1,9ft 317gal pure water volume
Lights : 2x Spiderfarmer 3000SE at 60% for 10h
Filtersump: -filtering over 100 or 50 micron filtersocks, changed daily
-Deltec 3000i with ozone
-algae refugium with reverse lightning
-Returnpump 1580gal real flow trough an 72W UVC
3 Wavemakers running probably at 1200gal/h
8 Dosing pumps for my Fertilizers and RODI refill and redosing saltwater to compensate for emptying the skimmer cup (yes, refilling evaporated water with dosingpumps, so i have controll for my rodi water or can add supplements to it if needed.
Grounding Probe
300W heater
3000W AC Unit for the Room

The ICP:
Alkalinity is already back on 8,00

i am open minded for discussions, but not for hate for my green hair algae lawn on my buttom, my blenny loves it so it stays! :D

What salinity is the tank kept at? Aren't Columbian sharks brackish?

I keep it at 33ppt, they go full marine when the get to a certain size. Mine are already 6-8"
I got them with 1,5" and raised them in fresh to brackish and then to full marine over 1 year.
Interesting, do they do anything beneficial for the tank or just swim and eat?
