I have a Waterbox sump with Cascading Filter Socks (water has to go thru first sock before going into the second one).

I am running a Klir Di4 filter Roller in the first chamber and the second chamber is empty. The second chamber is really noisy from water flowing into the empty hole. It gets better if I put a sock silencer in it, but then it constantly gurgles.

Anyone have any ideas on how to make it quiet?

Shortly after posting this as I was staring at my sump a light bulb went off on my head. If I could raise the water level in the sump to be even with the filter sock opening, it should be silent.

So I measured and it looked like if I raised the water .75 in. It should fix the issue. So I shut off my return pump to see how much room I had in the sump, and I had 2 inches to the top.

I raised the water level by 1 inch and now it's completely silent. I had to adjust my ato sensor, but that's no biggie.

Here's a picture after the adjustment.
