I got a leather hand coral about a week ago and noticed a small drop hanging on by a thread this morning. I gave the drop small tug with tweezers and it came off. For now I have the small piece in a breeder box that I keep a small kenya tree that my crabs keep messing with. I've only had corals for about 2 to 3 weeks so I am a rookie. What would be the best way to get the drop to attach? I thought about placing rubble stones in the box and seeing if it will attach or trying the rubber band method. Any suggestions are welcome and thanks in advance

I use gel super glue for almost everything. I’ve never used it on that type of softy myself but I’ve used it on button polyps before just got to make sure it’s the gel type of cyanoacrylate superglue. Given enough time it’ll probably attach to some rubble on its own too.
