Noob question on Clown Goby

I just set up my fisrt reef tank 7weeks ago and used crushed coral so to avoid a mess.
Can I keep a Clown Goby with this substrate?
I don't want to add sand @ this point. If I do add sand will it mess my tank up other than sandstorming??

Won't matter for a clown goby. They don't dig.

The one I had ate Monti polyps. So he went back to LFS.

I've got a green clown goby and it eats the 1.5mm (small) Omega One sinking pellets with no problem.

They don't sift sand and if you have corals(particularly SPS) they'll damage them
