Cyano thrives off of high phosphate. Maybe that is what it is. FWIW there is cyano in my tank that hasn’t expanded or receded since I discovered it. It only takes over if there is an opportunity.
Gsp can be fine for a few days.
Copy. Will keep an eye in phosphates. My understanding is a little is necessary from nitrifying bacteria correct ?

If you can isolate gsp and have a funky looking rock it can be really breathtaking but yes it can out grown almost any tank if not kept in Che k
Ok cool thanks. It's a 20 so I have to keep on top of it. I have a small rock on the Sandbed separate from main structure I plan to place it on. Would it grow over the sand and on to other structures, glass/rock ?

I appreciate all the help everyone. I have done my DD but it's nice to speak to a dedicated community with 1st hand experience

Scape looks great!
Like nitrate, a little phosphate is good to have but you don’t want it too high either.
Gsp will grow over sand but not very fast, unlike how it does on rock.
