Just wanted to introduce myself to the group and say hi. I've been reefing for just a short time around 8months. Before I was in freshwater for more then 30 years. Just here trying to learn as much as possible.

Welcome to R2R. Tell us a little about your current tank...and we all love pictures.
Well the tank is 48"x24"x17" it's my first saltwater aquarium, I have about 60 pounds of live rock with a 4" to 5" live sand bed I also have about 20 pounds of dry rock now. For the filter I'm using a cpr hob refugium with protein skimmer built in. Live stock is one Mandarin, a yellow tailed blenny 5 clowns one died two ss starfish and one brittle star. Pods everywhere and some snails and hermit crabs. Lights are led sb. 165w plus a brs dual carbon gfo reactor. I'm really wanting to get into the upper tier anemones in this hobby that's my top goals gigs and mags. Got the rock and some sand in the beginning from a fellow reefer to help seed the tank to mature.
