I run the K7 , you will easily need 2 for that tank( 4 ft long), they can get you the PAR you need.

At least 2. should have no issue with Par. If planning on a heavy sps tank I would do 3. They are cheap. they are basicly g4 xr30 clones. Run 5 older generation k7s above my 7' 210G. i want to order 6 k7 v3 pros to replace them.

my older units use a handheld controller where the newer use the ap. the ap does kind of suck though.

It wont be a SPS heavy tank but I do want to have some SPS here and there for a mixed look. I’ll be getting two Noopsyches and i already have Maxpect MJ-L130 lying around so im thinking to add that to the fixture as well, would that do the job?

Should be fine. I really like the noops. if you are someone that plays with their lights alot they may not be for you. the conroller/ app kinda sucks but once you get them set like you want they are great.

there is a offline scheduler for the noops that allows you to program and schedule on the computer and just upload a qr code to the ap.

use Bean animals code generator for adjusting the lights. I only up or down load with the K7 app on my phone You make your schedule and spectrum on the app then scan the QR code to down load. here is the link Noo-Psyche K7 Profile Generator

K7s is great. Just use Bean Animal's webtool to generate the schedule and you'll be on your way. The app is very limited but it deters you from tinkering too much.

I use 2 Noo's on my 80 gallon mixed tank. I do have 8 SPS frags that I have acquired over the last 3 months and they are starting to take off in growth and color as well as PE. 3 noo's should be good on a 4 footer. Right now I'm just running the noo's but will be adding 2 AI Blades Grow for additional coverage on the edges.

When I upgrade next year to a 220 - 6 footer, Ill go full SPS beast mode and add 3 more Noo's.

As other have mentioned, the app is total garbage... in comparison to other apps on the market but at this price...it's not that bad once you play with it a bit and dial in the schedule and color profile your looking for.

Definitely get Beananimals profile generator..,. if you are looking for a particular spectrum (in my case 14k Phoenix) , ask around this forum...someone may already have a QR code for it. Then all you have to do is upload it and adjust your start and end time...than bang!!!! easy peasy....

I have 3 over this tank and don't run them over 70-80% at the peak of the day this gives me ~400par (Seneye measurement) at the top of my rockwork. The few acros I have are growing quickly, and they have kept a Maxima clam happy for 18 months. (The maxima is temporarily in isolation because someone was picking on it)

I run 2 noops over my aqueon 75 gallon mixed reef. Only at 75 percent on the blues and like 20 percent white. Acro's are growing as are LPS. A third light would be right over the crossbrace and that would worry me about the lighting maybe making the plastic brittle and crack.

Looks like AI's HMS rail...you can search Etsy to see if anyone makes Noo to HMS 3D adaptors.
I went back through my BRS purchase history, and that is exactly what I bought. I hung the lights off of studs that are threaded into T-nuts in the rail.
