Has anyone created a schedule for the Noopsyche K7 v3 that mimics the Radion AB+? I found one for the K7 v2 that I can likely modify to reflect the 6 channels for the v3 vs the 5 channels that the v2 has. It looks like the v3 split the combined red/green channel from the v2 into two channels.

is the AB+ the gold standard for sps? It seems like it.
is there a different Radion schedule I should look for for a mixed reef?

thanks.

20/100/100/100/20/60 is what I saw for the ab+ program on the K7 Pro III.
A guy named Telegraham tested it with a spectrum reader machine thingy.
I can’t confirm because that’s WAAAY too much par for my tank and I’ve never seen the AB+ in person.

I saw the same thing, if you want to scale it down, just keep the same ratio and run the lights for example at 80% for each channel.

AB+ is marketing and AB+ across the different generations of Radions does not look the same.

Pin the blues/violets at 100%, bring up red and green to 10-20%, then bring up the whites to your liking. Check the PAR to make sure you're not sending too many photons downrange. Or use their presets.

This is inaccurate. Those settings were for the SmatFarm. https://humble.fish/community/index.php?threads/telegrahams-lighting-tests.5719/post-186614

Hi all,

I just had to go over the Noopsyche K7 V3 suggested @telegraham settings and did a table for all power percentages, it helped me and may help someone. Regards!

So, if I’m reading this right. That’s the light ratios for whatever our max power would be? Then adjust for any ramp up or ramp down?

Yes, based on the color ratio that @telegraham mentioned to copy the spectrum of the Ecotech Marine Radion AB+ preset, it can be scaled with more or less power depending on the desired PAR. I have set it to 90% and it gives me about 400 PAR in the area on top of my rocks and about 120 in the sand.

I have made my profile with the table values at 90% using the following tool (green and red at 10 and not 13):

You can import it over the next QR and the Noopsyche App

I did some night light at 1% white, 2% UV and 5% soft blue (I think its fine but not complete sure).

Excellent!! Thanks for the QR code! I have 6 over my 8’ 240. I’m going to give this program a try!

Some feedback from me: The corals like the spectrum, and I have good growth on the SPS/Acros.
You need a PAR meter at least once—they are powerful LEDs. I moved them down slightly and had to dim them to 70% to avoid burning my corals. I also had to reposition all LPS/Softies on the right side with lower PAR. I'm running the left light at 70% and the right LED light at 30% in standalone mode, which is just right for a mixed reef tank. The night light is fine; whiter/bluer is just an aesthetic preference controlled by the amount of white light you set.

Roger that. I’m running k7/ap9x/k7 (brace) k7/ap9x/k7.

Following this about the spectrum helped me blend them all together lol. Have a par meter and used it. I don’t go above 60 on the k7’s and even that is probably high. Doing a weird hybrid from WWC, more whites for first 6 hours then no whites for 6 hours. They used some verbiage about intense photoperiod and then soft photoperiod.
60 white
60 blue
60 deep blue
60 violet
Small red and green

Then
60 blue
60 deep blue
60 purple
Small red and green.

Coral responded well today, sleep during moon but figure it’s truly minimal at 1% and the kessils doing the lunar cycle for the rest. (Oddly enough had a healthy tang pass last night/today which was the first night of the moonlight from k7 and violet in the spectrum. Doubt the lights had anything to do with but figured would note just in case anyone else had a similar experience later.

Thanks for this thread it truly helped me with the spectrum and blending the lights.
