Just returning to reefing with a 90g rehabilitated (bought used and scratched beyond belief) uniquarium. Only been up and running a few weeks, but plan on a mixed LPS/SPS tank. Hope my entry still counts as I don't have any coral photos yet!

65 gallon mixed reef. I'd say LPS heavy right now, but need to get rid of the 10" chalice and spongode to make room for some new corals I just bought. I'd love to try out a hybrid lighting setup.

30 gallon fish and sps. Had for 2 years. Became interested in the hobby after my son bought a used 55 gallon saltwater aquarium. He sold it and I bought the pictured. Using his old light and could definitely use a upgrade.

Waterbox 170. Started 03/19 so it’s very new. LPS dominate and I need to make a lot more purchases. Trying to take it slow and not screw anything up. I recently purchased a 40 gal breeder to start frags. i have everything all set but the lights. “Please Help”.

SCA90 long. Originally planned on being SPS dominant but finding quickly that I like LPS more. I'll be LPS dominant. Started the system in October of 18 and added first coral in February. More detail in my build thread. My light stand is definitely function over form so these would be nice.

The pipe organ had just finished grabbing up some food in the picture above.

How’s everyone doing? I run a mixed reef that’s LPS dominant in a 90 gallon standard, plus another 60 gallons or so in a remote basement sump. I do everything on the cheap or with homemade stuff, because hey, my kids are children are expensive and my number one priority! I’ve done all the work myself and even have a remote basement fish room. Other than my black box LEDs and return pump, everything is either used or built by me. I’d love to have some quality lights for a change. My aquatic pets deserve it!

Regular entry:

I have a 55gal that's been running since late November 2017. I've had a lot of issues with trying to get things stabilized, and unfortunately don't have coral funds, so there's not much happening, either SPS or LPS wise. Biggest things are a GSP colony, a couple zoas, and a hammer. I recently got a leather that needs a permanent spot, as well. Plus my photo skills need some help :D

This is my mixed reef. It's 125 gallon display with a 75 gallon sump. It's been up and running since January 2017. I keep my levels a bit higher than normal but it's worked out for me. I started with all black box LEDs and just recently replaced the center light with a compact Orphek Atlantik gen 2. The difference that I see with the new light is better coloration and better polyp extension.
