Let time take the wheel for a couple days. It’s good your running fallow. Those fish would be hammered otherwise
I should have known to do this instead of going into "fix it now mode". It has been almost 4 days since I just let it run its course and the tank appears to be 90% back to normal. I m guessing it will balance out by the end of the weekend.

Thanks for the solid advice that I should have already known.

Semi-related, but I’d be more concerned about auto-dosing anything with methanol (NOPOX) since that can apparently damage your dosing system (so says the big warning card Neptune included on my DOS and DDR, anyway). It’s one reason I’ve phased out NOPOX and switched over to Nyos Zero.

Fresh carbon and a UV have worked wonders for rapidly clearing up any bacterial clouds.
