I moved from there after we had a few 7+ earthquakes. This is the first one that got reported outside of the area.

These quakes are interesting because you can hear them coming before the ground shakes. They sound like a heavy truck coming down Rohnerville Road. When the sound gets to your house there is one big jolt when the ground shakes and then the sound continues away from your position and the shaking stops. Quakes in Southern California will make the ground move for many seconds, not just one bump and done like in Humboldt and Del Norte Counties.

what a mess though. ive spent most of the day cleaning up water and figuring out what all got fried from saltwater.:disappointed-face:
