Rakie here, signed up to participate in the BRStv Investigates: EVERYTHING we know about reef tank lighting!

Oh yeah, reef is a 45g cube (short 50g cube), ATI 6x24, Vertex skimmer, Sicce pumps & Gyre 230 on the way, SPS dominant with a few nasty Acans and Zoa's.

Dosing:
- Saturated kalk
- Aminos
- kno3 (Potassium Nitrate)
- Vinegar/Vodka (10:1 vinegar:vodka)

Here's some pics -- Top picture is the newest. That green on the rocks (super visible in the top down shots) is going away, and turning purple. Tank has been up since Oct. Growth is good, color is okay for now. Currently overfeeding 3 fish as I'm gearing up to get a bunch of fish soon.

Unfortunately for @mdbannister I know him IRL. So please everyone reading this -- Spam him with ridiculous stuff. He's a good guy, and he needs to pay for it.

Hello Greybeard! Yeah.. Each lighting source does something the other lighting sources don't. The 'best' lighting source is a hybrid in my opinion. Although if I could get passed all the issues with operating, halides would be my go-to.
