Not sure my Molly is eating

It’s a saltwater acclimated Molly and he seems to be grabbing food on the bottom of the tank shuffling it around in his mouth and spitting it out.
Is this just how they eat or should I be worried.

The speck in front of him is food he just spat out.

Mollies seemed to be able to eat flake better than pellet when I kept them.

The only pellets my saltwater mollies ate were all spectrum and TDO. Maybe try those? I was able to get them on frozen with some work like the rest of my tank at the time
